About Nexus

Nexus is a free web directory organised as an indexed ledger. Each site in the directory occupies an entry in one of 22 columns, filed by domain, title, and a short description. The current index holds over 800 entries across a broad range of sectors.

The directory was built to serve as a structured reference — a single place where a wide range of websites can be found by category, without algorithmic ranking or paid placement. What appears in the ledger is what was submitted and reviewed.

Entries are reviewed before being posted to the record. Once approved, a listing remains in the index indefinitely. There is no renewal fee, no expiry date, and no tiered placement. Every entry occupies an equal position within its column.

The 22 sections of Nexus span the common categories of the web: health services, legal counsel, financial products, technology, travel, and more. The General Ledger column accommodates sites that span multiple areas or do not fit a specific section. Submitters choose their own category at the time of filing.

New entries are accepted through the submission form on this site. Supply your domain, a title, a description of no more than a few sentences, and select the column that best fits your site. Approved entries are added to the index and remain part of the permanent record.
